JOB DESCRIPTION

As an important member of the Group R&D, a Research Assistant is expected to dive deep into collecting, collating and analyzing data and preparing research papers/ business feasibility proposals required for monetizing new business verticals for Virenixia.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. To support the Group CTO in the design, execution, and monitoring of various research projects

2. To play the lead role in the assigned projects in conducting a deep study of the project feasibility, data collection, analysis, and presenting the supportive evidence

3. To prepare and create reports of the research project and highlight the progress periodically.

4. Conduct literature reviews, and prepare materials for submission to granting agencies and foundations

5. Design, develop and implement study procedures, including the selection of appropriate epidemiological methods for identifying study projects, creation of datasets for analysis, and ensuring data quality and confidentiality.

6. Identify and compile lists of potential research subjects in accordance with study objectives and parameters, as appropriate to the individual position

7. Conduct and record face-to-face and/or telephone interviews with subjects, in accordance with predetermined interview protocol, data collection procedures, and documentation standards

8. Review and edit data to ensure completeness and accuracy of information; follow up with subjects to resolve problems or clarify data collected.

Other Responsibilities

1. May set up, calibrate and maintain laboratory and/or field research equipment, as specified by the requirements of the study

2. Responsible for the quality control aspects of raw materials and finished products

3. Assist in setting quality standards and ensure that production is maintained at such standards

4. Develop, implement and maintain the organization’s quality management systems and ensure continuing compliance to relevant quality standards

5. Ensure weekly swabs/samples are taken and sent for testing. Takes action for any swabs/samples that come back with non-compliance levels

6. Maintain the corporate quality manual and quality records
