Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinates communications between concepts, logistics & documentation teams, to assure that products are consistent with our specifications and standards. Assures that our suppliers are provided with and understand our quality standards and specifications and that they comply with testing requirements and work with concepts to implement company-approved quality control systems to increase quality levels.

Compliance / Business Assurance

• Implement the Product Compliance, Quality guidelines, as per Corporate/Brand Framework and ensure easy retailing and quality product availability across all retalining terriotries of the concept.

• To play major role in developing QMS & GTM modules and implement the same across business.

• Work with central sustainability team to develop the group sustainability framework and work with concepts to implement the same

• Develop SLA guidelines for our quality agencies / concepts

• Develop Monthly reporting procedures, high level visiblity of the departmental acvitiy for senior management

• Develop test cases, checklists, test data preparation, etc to support regular data checks

• Coordinates quality objectives with third party sourcing partners to maximize product reliability and minimize costs

• Complete compliance audits and submit CAPs

• Audit new or proposed suppliers and ensure profiles are in line with Company requirements

• Regularly visit suppliers manufacturing units to build relationships

• Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability

• Set up and control Roving QC system in Countries of manufacturing to ensure that our suppliers are maintaining our requirements

• Standardise and establish a recognised AQL system in warehouses in all Countries of Retailing or manufacturing

People Management

• Manage and support team recruitment

• Set KRA's for direct reports and conduct performance appraisal

• Oversee staff deployment and drive motivation levels of the direct reports

Desired Candidate Profile

· Must have knowledge of Factory Engineering, Production Control and Quality Control Audit Procedures.

Should have worked in buying house, export house, retail organization in the quality / compliance function.

5 years in quality control role in an Export House / Retail company

· Advanced Knowledge of Quality control processes and policies

· Advanced Knowledge of Retail industry and products

· Analytical skills

For communicating the quality parameters to the third party sourcing partners

For conducting quality checks in warehouse/stores

For setting up programs/software for quality processes
