POSITION OBJECTIVE
The job holder will be responsible for Financial Accounting of the territory.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Accounting and Audit
Manage payables and receivables for the Territory
Approve, authorize all payments and ensure accuracy in timelines and accuracy in all payments
Develop and maintain systems for prompt and accurate collection of financial and accounting information
Maintain accounting by ensuring expenses are properly accounted for
Ensure generation of monthly and quarterly financial statements - Balance Sheet and P/L statements in compliance with the statutory/regulatory norms
Supervise timely and accurate internal audits and finalize Accounts for the Territory
Ensure Compliance to Company policies, practices and accounting standards
Ensure that the annual financial statements of the company are drawn up in time in line with the Corporate guidelines
Accounting :
Ensure monthly Book closure in co-ordination with Shared service team
Monthly Trial Balance review and analysis
Co-ordination with Auditors for Audit points issues.
Review of various type of reconciliation – Cash/ Bank / Credit Card,
Resolving Accounting and ERP issues related to it.
Improvement in process relating to Accounting.
Monthly review of Advances & Receivables.
Critical review of Provisions.
Payroll Supervision

Financial Payments & Approvals
Ensure authorization of petty cash vouchers
Ensure payments to suppliers

QUALIFICATION
Basic Qualification / Education / Vocational Training
Graduate Degree in Commerce / CA.(Inter) / I.C.W.A.(Inter)
Minimum Experience
8 years of accounting experience preferably
EXPERIENCE
Specific / Relevant Experience
4+ years of experience as an Accountant
COMPETECIES
Functional Skills and Capabilities
Knowledge of OFIN based Accounting Systems.
Accounting theory (e.g., internal controls, financial statement,preparation, accrual accounting)
Basic Accounting Tools or Financial tools (e.g. CAPEX)
Knowledge of International Financial Reporting (IFRS Standards)
Analytical ability
MS Office skills
