Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, direct and control activities of the subordinates
• Implement the guidelines and instructions issued by higher management related to general accounts
• Identify deficiencies in the system and advise the finance manager (together with alternative solutions)
• Ensure operational system risks are effectively identified, and controls developed to mitigate such risks
• Ensure compliance with International Accounting Standards and local legal framework
• Ensure timely and accurate accounting of financial transactions
• Strong understanding of the internal control and compliance framework

Desired Candidate Profile

• Professional qualification: Master Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional certifications such as ACCA/ACA/CPA
• 5-6 years of relevant industry experience of which 2-3 years should be in a supervisory role
• Good financial and managerial skills
• Working knowledge of International Accounting Standards
• Understanding of accounting practices in the services industry
• Proficient in English language
• Proficient understanding of QuickBooks, Tally or Peachtree
