· Work will involve generating business leads for Claim management assignments and expert witness for arbitration from Cont/ Employers/ Government & PSUs, working in Oil & Gas, Energy, Power, Infrastructure domain/ law firms.
· Should have flair in business development for Consultancy Organization, Selling services in EPC/Contracting Companies.
· Should have basic understanding of construction projects specially an idea about contracts, claims & dispute resolution.
· Preparation of proposals and aggressive follow up to convert the leads.
· Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
· Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
· Understand the needs of clients and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet them.
· Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
· Strong networking in construction companies.
· Market mapping to identify new clients and cold calling to introduce and align new meetings.
· Attending market events and promoting the brand.
· Should be graduate from reputed university.
· Minimum +7 years’ experience in business development in infra/construction consultancy sector.
· Should have good understanding of construction and EPC market.
· Should have good networks in construction industry including law firms dealing with construction disputes.
· Candidates with business development experience in construction claims will be given preference.
· Candidate should have excellent communication, presentational and negotiation skills.
